Overview:
Linchpin Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Systems Administrator for an exciting opportunity in IT, engineering, software development, logistics, and project management. In this role, you will be responsible for systems development, design, and analysis, troubleshooting complex network issues, and evaluating network systems and communications. Strong knowledge of network architecture, routers, switches, and firewalls is required.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement systems based on end-user specifications

Install, maintain, and evaluate network systems

Troubleshoot complex network issues across various factors
-
Conduct network architecture design, feasibility studies, and cost assessments

Support LAN/WAN networks, install new devices, and maintain network infrastructure
Required Skills & Experience:

Proficient in Microsoft Office
-
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

Critical thinking and presentation skills
-
Experience with LAN/WAN communications, Cisco routers, Ethernet switches, Palo Alto firewalls

Knowledge of routing protocols (RIP, EIGRP, BGP, QoS, OSPF)

Familiarity with MPLS, VPLS, VPNs, Traffic Engineering

Experience with VMware, Linux (preferred F5 load balancer experience)
Education & Certifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

CompTIA A+, Security+, Network+, or Cisco Certifications (CCNA, CCNP)
Experience:

4+ years in systems administration
