The Opportunity:

Do you have a knack for systems administration and problem-solving? We need a skilled systems administrator to help deploy security solutions across the US Navy’s network. In this role, you’ll blend technical expertise with communication skills to analyze metrics and present valuable insights. This is also an opportunity to gain cloud computing experience while working with a collaborative team to tackle challenges and develop innovative solutions.

You Have:

  • Experience in software installation, systems upgrades, web page design, system documentation, and cloud-based environment maintenance and troubleshooting.

  • Strong ability to train staff on software, assist customers with IT needs, monitor system configurations, and provide application support.

  • A Secret security clearance.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems with 11+ years of experience in systems administration or a Master’s degree with 7+ years of experience.

  • Relevant certifications: CompTIA Security+, CASP, or CISSP.

Nice If You Have:

  • 3+ years supporting an enterprise cloud hosting environment.

  • Experience with Windows and RHEL operating systems.

  • Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, and Security Hub.

  • Experience with DoD or Navy systems and compliance requirements like STIGs.

Clearance:
Applicants must have or be eligible for Secret clearance.

Compensation:
Booz Allen offers a competitive salary, ranging from $61,900 to $141,000 annually, based on experience, education, and location. Benefits include health, life, disability, financial, and retirement plans, paid leave, professional development, and more.
