Tailor / Seamstress Job Description
Lapels Dry Cleaning is hiring an experienced Tailor / Seamstress to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with professional alteration and sewing experience who wants to work in an established and environmentally conscious dry cleaning environment. Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist all walk-in customers with fittings and alterations

Perform high-quality tailoring to meet customer needs and company standards

Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the alteration department

Follow posted work schedule and contribute to a professional environment

Uphold Lapels’ standards in productivity and customer service

Support overall store presentation and cleanliness

Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
-
At least 3 years of professional tailoring/seamstress experience

Strong knowledge of tailoring, sewing, and alterations

Good communication skills
-
Previous experience at high-end retailers (e.g., Neiman Marcus, Four Seasons) or production environments is a plus
