Position: Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Specialist

The Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Specialist plays a key role in ensuring new hires meet all compliance requirements within healthcare laws and regulations while providing expert sourcing support for challenging recruitment needs.

In this role, approximately 70% of responsibilities will focus on onboarding, and 30% on talent acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage employment verifications, background checks, and reference checks, coordinating with vendors as needed.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on system functionality and processes, providing training and support to new TA team members.

  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers, employees, and applicants to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.

  • Manage the ATS (Workday) system for job postings, run reports, and provide regular updates.

  • Partner with recruiting teams and business leaders to streamline job requisitions, job descriptions, and approvals.

  • Track and report KPIs to support data-driven recruitment decisions.

  • Create and maintain accurate employee personnel files.

  • Develop and execute multi-channel sourcing strategies to build diverse talent pipelines.

  • Communicate professionally and responsively with candidates throughout the hiring process.

  • Oversee multiple roles and hiring initiatives through the full recruitment cycle.

  • Consult with hiring leaders to develop effective recruiting strategies based on market and labor data.

  • Continuously improve ATS and onboarding processes through innovation and collaboration.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, HR, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Minimum 2 years of related experience in a fast-paced environment; healthcare experience preferred.

  • Previous experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, or People Analytics.

  • Familiarity with multiple ATS systems; Workday experience preferred.

Compensation

The salary range is determined by education, experience, geographic location, and operational needs, consistent with applicable laws.
