JBS is seeking a dedicated Program Manager to join our Talent Development team at our Corporate Office in Greeley. You’ll play a key role in attracting and nurturing talent by mentoring participants in our four nationwide programs: the international Global Talent Program, the college graduate-focused Management Trainee Program, the summer Internship Program for college students, and the Apprenticeship Program for high school juniors and seniors.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the success of each talent program by meeting clearly defined goals.
- Evaluate programs and implement continuous improvements.
- Manage campus recruiting and candidate selection across the company.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with college campuses.
- Recruit highly qualified candidates for all talent programs.
- Create rotation requirements and schedules based on business needs.
- Clearly communicate program goals, expectations, structure, and schedules to management at each location.
- Train mentors for all trainees.
- Sponsor 20-30 trainees, including onboarding, system access, regular check-ins, and addressing any program issues.
- Conduct regular evaluations of trainees and interns to provide constructive feedback.
- Partner with internal and external resources to organize training sessions.
- Execute all program components, including placements, orientation, events, presentations, and evaluations.
- Manage the intern review and selection process for future hiring.
- Travel regularly to campuses and events (approximately 12-14 weeks per year).
- Handle other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing facility (JBS/Pilgrim’s experience strongly preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Agriculture, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in HR, recruiting, or a management role preferred.
- Strong organizational, follow-up, negotiation, interview, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage a high workload.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee information.
- Proficient with MS Office suite.
- Ability to travel as needed.
