Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-focused Talking Therapies Data Administrator to join our Derby-based team. You’ll play a key role in supporting service delivery through high-quality data management, reporting, and operational support.

This role is ideal for someone with a passion for data integrity, who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Data Analyst with service performance data and operational insights.

  • Generate and maintain service dashboards, including KPI and utilisation tracking.

  • Monitor and improve data quality using cleansing tools and audit reports.

  • Train new clinical staff in using our patient management system (e.g., IAPTUS) and troubleshoot system-related queries.

  • Collaborate with service leads, data analysts, and admin teams to optimise reporting processes.

  • Promote best practices in data use and contribute to service improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • GCSEs in English and Maths (Grades A–C or equivalent).

  • Experience with databases, record management systems, or patient management platforms.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (intermediate to advanced level).

  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in an NHS Talking Therapies or IAPT setting.

  • Familiarity with IAPTUS or similar patient data systems.

  • Knowledge of NHS Talking Therapies KPIs and reporting frameworks.
