Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of tax professionals in preparing and reviewing a variety of tax returns, including individual, corporate, partnership, and trust filings.

Provide strategic tax planning and consulting services to clients, aimed at optimizing tax efficiency and ensuring compliance.

Conduct in-depth research and interpretation of complex tax laws and regulatory developments at the federal, state, and local levels.

Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering high-quality service and proactive communication.

Identify and implement process improvements within the tax department to drive efficiency and profitability.

Stay informed on industry trends and legislative changes, providing clients with timely updates and guidance.

Collaborate across departments and with other firm partners to deliver integrated financial solutions to clients.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

Active CPA license is required.

Minimum of 10 years of public accounting experience, with a concentration in tax compliance and advisory.

Demonstrated success in mentoring and developing staff, as well as leading key departmental initiatives.

Strong technical proficiency in federal, state, and local tax regulations.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
