Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of tax professionals in preparing and reviewing a variety of tax returns, including individual, corporate, partnership, and trust filings.

  • Provide strategic tax planning and consulting services to clients, aimed at optimizing tax efficiency and ensuring compliance.

  • Conduct in-depth research and interpretation of complex tax laws and regulatory developments at the federal, state, and local levels.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering high-quality service and proactive communication.

  • Identify and implement process improvements within the tax department to drive efficiency and profitability.

  • Stay informed on industry trends and legislative changes, providing clients with timely updates and guidance.

  • Collaborate across departments and with other firm partners to deliver integrated financial solutions to clients.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • Active CPA license is required.

  • Minimum of 10 years of public accounting experience, with a concentration in tax compliance and advisory.

  • Demonstrated success in mentoring and developing staff, as well as leading key departmental initiatives.

  • Strong technical proficiency in federal, state, and local tax regulations.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
