The University of Stirling International Study Centre is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Teacher of Business and Finance to deliver high-quality instruction across SCQF Levels 7, 8, and 9. You will teach Accounting as a core subject and contribute to at least one other area in Business Studies – such as Business, Management, or Economics.

This is a unique opportunity to teach across a variety of programmes, including:

  • International Foundation Year (Level 7)

  • International Year One and Diploma (Level 8)

  • Pre-Master’s Programme (Level 9/10)

We’re looking for someone who is not only confident in teaching but also excited to contribute to the broader student experience through academic support, enrichment activities, and curriculum development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, inclusive, and academically rigorous lessons across Accounting and at least one additional Business Studies subject

  • Contribute to assessment, feedback, and academic progress tracking

  • Support student development through tutorials, inductions, and enrichment sessions

  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance programme content and maintain teaching quality

  • Maintain high standards of academic and pastoral support in line with university expectations

About You

 A Master’s degree in a relevant subject (Accounting, Business, Finance, or similar)
 Experience teaching at further or higher education level, preferably in international or pathway education
 Ability to teach Accounting plus at least one of the following: Business, Management, or Economics
 Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
 A teaching qualification or Advance HE Fellowship is desirable
