Job Summary:

Fairisle Junior School, a well-resourced and vibrant primary school located on the western edge of Southampton, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join our committed team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality teaching and learning in line with the national curriculum.

  • Promote excellent pupil behaviour, maintaining the high standards recognised by OfSTED.

Person Specification:

Essential:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Passionate about education and committed to pupil development

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills

  • Ability to work effectively within a team

Desirable:

  • Prior experience working in Key Stage 2

  • Understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies
