Position Overview
Spring Valley Elementary School is seeking a dedicated Elementary School Teacher (Kindergarten through Grade 5) to join our team for the 2025–2026 academic year. This is a full-time, 10-month, certified teaching position. The ideal candidate will be passionate about student growth, committed to academic excellence, and skilled in fostering a supportive and engaging classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality instruction aligned with state and local curriculum standards for K–5 students.

Develop lesson plans that meet the diverse academic and social-emotional needs of students.

Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents.

Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices and support school-wide initiatives.

Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.

Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school staff.

Participate in professional development and school meetings as required.
Qualifications

Active State Teaching Certification for K–5 or eligibility to obtain certification.

Strong knowledge of curriculum standards and effective instructional strategies.

Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
