Job Overview:

Reaseheath College is looking to appoint several passionate and forward-thinking Teaching and Learning (TLA) Leads to join our Teaching and Learning team during an exciting phase of growth and innovation.

As a TLA Lead, you’ll take a pivotal role in driving excellence across teaching and learning practices throughout the college. This includes working directly with teachers through coaching, mentoring, CPD delivery, and collaborative innovation—all with a focus on quality improvement and learner outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Model and promote excellent teaching, learning, and assessment strategies

  • Provide tailored mentoring and team teaching support

  • Lead engaging CPD sessions and the Teacher Induction Programme

  • Embed digital tools and enhance blended learning practices

  • Collaborate with curriculum teams to raise student outcomes

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional learning

Person Specification:

Essential:

  • A recognised teaching qualification

  • Recent experience in delivering outstanding teaching and learning

  • Background in coaching and mentoring educators

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Strong knowledge of digital learning tools and QA processes

  • Commitment to collaborative improvement in education

Desirable:

  • Experience in cross-college CPD leadership

  • Deep understanding of learner-centred teaching innovation
