Located in central Frome, Somerset, Fromefield Manor is a new SEN school designed to provide tailored educational support for students aged 11-19. As a Teaching Assistant, you will assist teachers in delivering individualized curriculums, ensuring each student’s unique needs are met. Whether you’re helping with communication, behaviour, or academic goals, you’ll be part of a passionate team dedicated to making a difference in these students’ lives.
Your Role as a Teaching Assistant at Fromefield Manor
Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant in SEN Education

Assist in the implementation of bespoke, person-centred learning plans for students with autism and related challenges.

Provide direct support to students during lessons, ensuring a positive and focused learning environment.

Work closely with the teacher to develop and adapt lesson content based on individual student needs.

Use Total Communication methods to support students effectively, with experience in TEACCH or PECS being a plus.

Assist in managing student behaviour and helping students meet their educational goals.
