Salary: Grade C, Points 4-6 (£24,404 – £25,183 Full Time Equivalent)
Minimum actual pro-rata salary: £17,806.87
Lincoln Castle Academy is seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant Level 1 to join our vibrant team starting in September 2025. As a Teaching Assistant Level 1, you will support the classroom teacher and assist students in accessing learning opportunities. You will contribute to maintaining an organized and engaging classroom, helping students thrive in their educational environment.

Role Overview for Teaching Assistant Level 1:
As a Teaching Assistant Level 1, you will work closely under the direct instruction of teaching staff, assisting students to ensure they are able to participate fully in their learning. Your role will also include providing general classroom support to the teacher, helping with classroom management and ensuring a positive and focused learning environment.
Responsibilities for Teaching Assistant Level 1:

Provide direct support to pupils and assist with their learning needs.

Help the teacher with general classroom management.

Ensure that students are able to access learning in a productive and positive manner.

Support the teacher with lesson preparation and classroom activities.

Work collaboratively with other staff to meet students’ learning needs.
Key Requirements for Teaching Assistant Level 1:

Experience in supporting students in a classroom setting.

A positive attitude and ability to work with children.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.
