Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Team Administrator to support our fast-paced Health Informatics team. This role is central to keeping our daily operations running smoothly, serving as a reliable support system to the team and acting as a key point of contact for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day administrative support across the Health Informatics team

Schedule meetings and capture accurate, technical minutes with follow-up summaries

Maintain and update internal systems, records, files, and team documentation

Oversee calendar and inbox management, coordinate travel and accommodation

Support finance admin: invoice processing, expenses, and supply ordering

Assist with team recruitment and onboarding
-
Act as liaison between Health Informatics and business functions (HR, Finance)

Organise team events and manage logistics for internal and external meetings
-
Proactively improve admin processes to enhance operational efficiency

Be responsive to urgent tasks, reprioritising as needed to meet team goals
Key Relationships

Internal: Health Informatics team members, HR, Finance, Operations

External: NHS Trusts, academic partners, industry collaborators, ICBs, and patient groups
Person Specification
Essential Qualifications & Experience
-
Educated to degree level or equivalent administrative experience
-
2+ years’ experience in administrative or coordination roles
-
Confident with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams
-
Calendar management across multiple users
-
Excellent attention to detail and time management
-
Comfortable working independently in fast-moving settings
Desirable Skills

Familiarity with data governance and security frameworks

Experience with collaboration/project tools (e.g. Jira, Miro)

Experience in health tech, life sciences, or NHS environment
