Role Summary
We are seeking a Reception Team Member to be the welcoming face of our hostels. In this fast-paced, guest-facing role, you’ll handle bookings, answer questions, provide local tips, and help deliver an unforgettable guest experience. You’ll also collaborate closely with other departments to keep operations smooth.
Key Responsibilities

Guest Services: Manage check-ins/check-outs, provide information, and support guest needs

Reservations: Handle online and walk-in bookings, cancellations, and modifications

Payments: Process transactions using multiple payment methods

Communication: Respond to emails, phone calls, and social media queries promptly

Complaints: Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and positivity

Coordination: Work with housekeeping and support hostel social events
-
Safety & Security: Monitor access and follow safety procedures

Excellent communication and guest service skills

Able to multitask in a dynamic environment

Confident using booking systems and online tools

Organised, time-efficient, and detail-oriented

Friendly, team-minded, and flexible

Bonus: Fluency in more than one language

Stand for extended periods

Lift items up to 30 lbs (15 kg) occasionally

Adapt to busy, noisy environments
