About the Role
Medline is seeking a proactive Logistics Systems Support Specialist to provide advanced technical support and optimize logistics and warehouse management system operations. This fully remote role (with occasional office visits in Northbrook, IL) focuses on troubleshooting, process improvement, and ensuring efficient system performance. You will work closely with internal teams to resolve escalated issues, implement long-term solutions, and contribute to continuous operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Support & Troubleshooting

Act as a resource for escalated system issues, applying analytical and problem-solving skills.

Investigate and resolve application and infrastructure issues; develop and document technical solutions and workarounds.

Monitor ticket queues and system alerts; take timely action to maintain system uptime.

Support user account management, including creation, updates, and deactivation.
Collaboration & Communication

Participate in bridge calls for high-impact incidents; provide updates to stakeholders.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement process improvements.

Contribute feedback to improve knowledgebase articles, SOP documentation, and operational procedures.
Project & Continuous Improvement Support

Relay insights to build teams and support project requirements.

Assist in continuous improvement initiatives and maintain documentation for recurring issues.

Ensure SLA adherence and maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Experience
-
3–5 years in logistics systems or IT support with application and infrastructure troubleshooting experience.

Experience supporting logistics or warehouse management systems.
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Experience with ticketing systems and SQL for troubleshooting.
Preferred Experience

Familiarity with SAP or other ERP platforms.

Experience with documentation/project tracking tools (JIRA, Ivanti ITSM).

Knowledge of Unix-based systems.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual Salary: $73,840 – $107,120 (varies by location, education, experience, and skills).
