Impact XM develops solutions for virtual and live events. We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join our team.
Working closely with and under the supervision of the Technology Department leaders, the Technical Support Specialist is responsible for supporting all the technology needs of the corporate users.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- In consultation with users, determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications.
- Create, test, or modify computer systems or programs based on user specifications.
- Install, modify, configure and repair PC and MAC hardware, operating systems and software.
- Provide assistance to users needing technical assistance and support for issues related to computer systems hardware and software.
- Be able to run diagnostic programs to analyze hardware and software issues and develop solutions.
- Maintain daily performance of computer systems
- Provide technical support for the corporate business systems and voice and data infrastructure, including servers, cloud installations, email, user computers and Android and IPhone mobile devices.
- Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved.
- Assist with documentation including writing training manuals.
- Train computer users on corporate business systems.
- As a member of the Technology team, the Technical Support Specialist will participate in the discussions and evaluations of technology and process.
- Projects as assigned by Manager/Executive Director.
- Junior level admin support of virtual servers, O365, Backup and Recovery, and Network
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and at least 4-6 years of experience. Significant experience in administration, maintenance and support of MAC and MS Windows operating systems, as well knowledge and experience with all the software applications mentioned in the duties above.
