About the Role
TaskUs is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to create clear, engaging, and user-friendly documentation that simplifies complex information. You will collaborate with engineers, product experts, SMEs, and support teams to produce manuals, guides, FAQs, and digital content that improve the customer and internal user experience. This role requires a strong ability to understand technical details and communicate them effectively to diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities

Determine end-user documentation needs and translate complex information into accessible content.

Collaborate with designers, developers, and technical staff to improve usability and reduce reliance on instructions.

Write and organize manuals, guidelines, FAQs, and knowledge base articles.

Incorporate visuals (diagrams, charts, animations, photos) to enhance comprehension.

Standardize content across platforms and delivery channels.

Collect and implement usability feedback from users and stakeholders.

Continuously revise documents as products evolve.

Support content creation for training, customer support, and product adoption.
Qualifications
Must Haves:

5+ years of professional writing or content management experience.

Strong ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Excellent research, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Proven ability to simplify technical concepts for different audiences.

Clear, concise writing style with adaptability for tone and vocabulary.

Commitment to process improvement and style consistency.

Self-motivated with strong curiosity and drive to succeed.
Nice to Haves:

Familiarity with web technologies and content creation tools.

Programming knowledge in any language.

Visual and graphic design experience; ability to use image editing tools.

Experience creating multimedia learning content (videos, tutorials, live training).

Background in 3D content creation, gaming, design visualization, or simulation training.
