Key Responsibilities:
- Expand Sales & Business Growth: Drive revenue by strengthening relationships with existing accounts and actively pursuing new business opportunities in the Western Region.
- Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Foster long-term client relationships by ensuring outstanding service and satisfaction.
- Promote Product Expansion: Introduce new product offerings, identify growth opportunities, facilitate conversions, and provide comprehensive support to increase customer business.
- Client Engagement & Sales Visits: Plan and conduct on-site account visits, sales meetings, and end-user calls to enhance business opportunities.
- Industry Representation: Attend trade shows, conventions, and industry events to network and stay updated on market trends.
- Sales Training & Development: Conduct virtual sales training sessions for distributors to strengthen product knowledge and sales strategies.
- Account Management: Oversee all account-related needs, including product conversions, inventory levels, deliveries, and credit inquiries, supported by an assigned Customer Service Representative.
- Pricing Strategy Implementation: Develop and manage pricing strategies to maximize profitability across assigned accounts.
- Collaboration & Strategy Development: Work closely with manufacturer sales representatives and strategize with the National Sales Manager to identify growth opportunities and boost sales performance.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze sales trends, buying patterns, and product category performance while generating accurate and timely sales reports.
- Cross-Department Coordination: Maintain effective communication and collaboration with internal teams to ensure operational efficiency.
- Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as needed to support the success of the business.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Professional Selling, Marketing, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience: 3-5 years of sales experience, ideally within the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) industry.
- Travel: Willingness to travel up to 15% annually.
- Independence & Initiative: Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Strong Communication & Customer Focus: Exceptional customer service, interpersonal, and teamwork skills to work effectively with diverse teams and external partners.
- Analytical & Organizational Skills: Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication abilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary Range: $68,640 – $80,000 (plus performance-based bonus eligibility).
