Territory Sales Manager Role Overview
The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and growing a profitable base of approximately 50 target and core dealers. You’ll work closely with branch teams, educate customers about products and services, and maintain strong sales performance while ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities of a Territory Sales Manager

Build and manage a profitable base of target and core dealers within your territory.

Identify, target, and sign up new dealers.

Increase sales through proactive communication about new products, services, promotions, and pricing.

Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and track all customer interactions.

Collaborate with Branch Managers to strengthen sales performance.

Develop action plans to meet or exceed weekly sales goals.

Serve as the go-to expert on product features, benefits, and performance.

Ensure customer accounts are fully supported with policies, billing, returns, and product updates.

Conduct regular customer check-ins to ensure satisfaction.

Monitor competitor activities and market trends.

Skills and Qualifications for the Territory Sales Manager Role

Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience, preferably in the HVAC industry.
