Join a rapidly growing craft distillery revolutionizing the DC spirits scene! We’re seeking an ambitious self-starter to join our team in an exciting sales role with great growth potential. You would be a key player in expanding our brand to become a leading craft spirit in the Mid-Atlantic region, and beyond.

This role is to share our unique story and brand with customers throughout the DC, Maryland and Delaware territory, both on-premise and off-premise. Candidates should have previous sales experience in the alcoholic beverage industry as either a brand ambassador, distributor sales rep, or other sales and marketing related roles.

This role is full time and an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a growing company. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

New Business Development

– Identify and target new on-premise and off-premise accounts that align with Chacho’s brand strategy.

– Cultivate strong relationships with on-premise buyers to achieve new cocktail menu placements

– Drive off-premise sales by securing placement in key retail accounts

– Work with our distributor’s sales reps to leverage their existing network to grow our customer base and points-of-sale

Brand Building

– Host promotional events and activations at on-premise accounts to drive brand awareness and support existing accounts

– Conduct at least 2+ in store tastings at off-premise accounts each week

– Work with our internal social media team to promote the brand with your accounts and in your territory

Account Management

– Conduct regular account visits to monitor product performance, provide staff training, and identify opportunities for increased sales and brand visibility.

– Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in on-premise accounts throughout the sales territory

– Forward customer orders to the applicable distributor sales rep for prompt fulfillment

Reporting

– Weekly and monthly reporting with internal management team to track sales goals and targets (or KPI’s, Key Performance Indicators), including account visits, new customer sales, depletions, and overall brand expansion

Time Commitment: Full-time position requiring approximately 40-50 hours per week, including evening and weekend work for on-premise events and in-store tastings. Expected working days Tuesday – Saturday

Compensation: Competitive base salary commensurate with experience, plus a performance-based commission structure and benefits package

Requirements:

At least 2+ years of applicable sales experience in the alcohol industry or related field

Must be 21+ years of age and legal to work in the US

Must have a valid drivers license

English fluency required, Spanish fluency a plus
