We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Therapy Appointments Officer to join our supportive clerical team at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a Therapy Appointments Officer, you’ll play a key role in managing outpatient referrals, booking therapy appointments, and providing outstanding front-line administrative support. This position is based mainly at Frimley Park Hospital, with the chance to work at Fleet Community Hospital. Key Responsibilities of a Therapy Appointments Officer
As a Therapy Appointments Officer, your main duties will include:

Booking patient therapy appointments in line with NHS Access policies

Managing clinicians’ diary templates efficiently

Registering new patients and updating their records accurately

Providing front-line reception and telephone services to patients and visitors

Offering admin support for Dietetic and Therapy outpatient services
-
Liaising with other departments to ensure smooth patient care delivery

Maintaining high standards of customer care and patient confidentiality
This Therapy Appointments Officer role ensures you’ll be an essential part of a supportive, multi-disciplinary administrative team.
What We’re Looking for in a Therapy Appointments Officer
Ideal candidates for the Therapy Appointments Officer position will have:

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Basic IT skills (knowledge of EPIC desirable)

Strong organisational, administrative, and attention to detail skills

Previous experience in a reception, administrative, or customer-facing role

A positive, team-focused attitude with excellent communication skills
We welcome applications from candidates with NHS or large public sector admin experience, but this is not essential for the Therapy Appointments Officer post.
