Key Duties & Responsibilities
Planning & Oversight

Assess effectiveness of HR practices and implement improvements for a world-class team member experience

Analyze KPIs to identify turnover trends; provide insights and recommendations to leadership

Facilitate leadership team goal setting and action planning aligned with TMX vision
Pay & Rewards
-
Oversee Benefits/Salary Administration and Payroll/Attendance
-
Collaborate with HRBP on pay-related issues or market concerns
Recruiting & Hiring
-
Manage recruiting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding processes
-
Anticipate staffing needs and ensure compliance with hiring regulations
-
Facilitate orientation, referral programs, and issue resolution
Job Skills Training
-
Partner with leaders to ensure proper training on job skills, safety protocols, LEAN standards, and site-specific requirements

Train and coach leaders on setting expectations, recognition, and addressing non-performance
Leadership Development
-
Facilitate leadership workshops and advise GM/PM on development plans
-
Lead training on interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance evaluations, and harassment
Employment Practices & Compliance
-
Ensure policies comply with federal and state law
-
Investigate employee relations issues and advise management on resolution
Performance Management
-
Ensure performance evaluation processes exist and are properly executed
-
Provide training and coaching to leaders on feedback, trust-building, and two-way communication
Additional Initiatives
-
Serve as point of contact for programs like VTO, Wellbeing, etc.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business/Management, or Organizational Development
-
Minimum 3 years of progressive HR, Training, or OD leadership experience
-
Knowledge and experience in HR, recruitment, employee engagement, OD, employee relations, safety, and employee development
-
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
-
Strong interpersonal, coaching, and relationship-building skills
-
Manufacturing environment experience preferred
Physical Demands

Operate computers and office machinery consistently

Communicate effectively via phone, email, and in-person

Work primarily in an indoor, temperature-controlled office environment

Ability to sit/stand for extended periods
