Key Duties & Responsibilities

Planning & Oversight

  • Assess effectiveness of HR practices and implement improvements for a world-class team member experience

  • Analyze KPIs to identify turnover trends; provide insights and recommendations to leadership

  • Facilitate leadership team goal setting and action planning aligned with TMX vision

Pay & Rewards

  • Oversee Benefits/Salary Administration and Payroll/Attendance

  • Collaborate with HRBP on pay-related issues or market concerns

Recruiting & Hiring

  • Manage recruiting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding processes

  • Anticipate staffing needs and ensure compliance with hiring regulations

  • Facilitate orientation, referral programs, and issue resolution

Job Skills Training

  • Partner with leaders to ensure proper training on job skills, safety protocols, LEAN standards, and site-specific requirements

  • Train and coach leaders on setting expectations, recognition, and addressing non-performance

Leadership Development

  • Facilitate leadership workshops and advise GM/PM on development plans

  • Lead training on interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance evaluations, and harassment

Employment Practices & Compliance

  • Ensure policies comply with federal and state law

  • Investigate employee relations issues and advise management on resolution

Performance Management

  • Ensure performance evaluation processes exist and are properly executed

  • Provide training and coaching to leaders on feedback, trust-building, and two-way communication

Additional Initiatives

  • Serve as point of contact for programs like VTO, Wellbeing, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business/Management, or Organizational Development

  • Minimum 3 years of progressive HR, Training, or OD leadership experience

  • Knowledge and experience in HR, recruitment, employee engagement, OD, employee relations, safety, and employee development

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal, coaching, and relationship-building skills

  • Manufacturing environment experience preferred

Physical Demands

  • Operate computers and office machinery consistently

  • Communicate effectively via phone, email, and in-person

  • Work primarily in an indoor, temperature-controlled office environment

  • Ability to sit/stand for extended periods
