Top Secret Cleared Cloud Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot system-level issues using diagnostic tools such as NetMon, WinDbg, and proprietary application tools.

• Respond to incident tickets to meet defined SLA targets in a 24/7 operational support setting.

• Analyze system logs to proactively identify, isolate, and resolve technical problems.

• Utilize the internal knowledge base to support effective and efficient issue resolution.

• Maintain and update troubleshooting documentation and lessons learned to enhance team knowledge.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to document resolutions and recommend system enhancements.

• Record and manage system outages and support resolution via established change management protocols.

• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among operations, development teams, and external partners.

• Participate in “tiger team” sessions to promote rapid knowledge transfer and accelerate problem resolution.

• Monitor infrastructure and application performance in accordance with client SLAs, escalating issues as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline preferred.

• At least 2 years of experience in an operations or infrastructure support role.

• Minimum of 1 year in system administration (Windows and/or Linux environments).

Clearance Requirements:

• Active Top Secret (TS) clearance required to start.

• Must be clearable for Full Scope Polygraph.

• FBI CJIS Investigation is required.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Prior experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS).

• Strong familiarity with Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, O365, SharePoint, and Teams.

• Proficiency in identifying and resolving routine system, software, and networking issues.

• Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts in both written and verbal form.

Certifications (Preferred):

• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals

• CompTIA Security+

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: $100,000 – $110,000 (based on skills, experience, certifications, and business requirements).
