Role Overview

This is a varied entry-level role, perfect for someone starting or progressing early in their career. You’ll support both finance and administrative functions, with full training provided. You’ll be hands-on across the business, gaining exposure to project support, purchase processes, credit control, and office coordination.

Key Responsibilities

General Office Administration

  • Answering phones, greeting visitors, refreshments

  • Managing stationery, printing, and general office upkeep

  • Assisting in business/project setup and supplier account opening

  • Supporting team members and handling ad hoc admin tasks

Finance & Bookkeeping Support

  • Data entry of purchase invoices and bank reconciliation

  • CIS and proforma payment processing

  • Tracking retentions, VAT returns, and debtor chasing

  • Managing sales invoicing, credit control, and payment runs

  • Supporting QS and framework reporting

Construction-Specific Admin Support

  • Ordering materials/sub-contractors, plant hire, agency labour

  • Monitoring defects, maintenance, and completion certificates

  • Assisting with budget controls, valuations, and programme updates

Role Requirements

  • A positive, team-first attitude with a willingness to learn

  • Strong ICT and Microsoft Office skills, especially Outlook and Excel

  • Organised, adaptable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Problem-solving mindset and flexible with tasks across departments
