Are you a confident swimmer with a passion for helping others learn? GLL is recruiting Trainee Swimming Teachers to join our team in Croydon. As the UK’s largest provider of swimming lessons, we’re offering a fully funded qualification (STA Level 2 Award in Teaching Swimming) and the opportunity to start a rewarding career in the leisure industry.
What You’ll Do

Undertake GLL-funded training to become a qualified swimming teacher.

Once qualified, teach swimming lessons to children and adults of all ages and abilities.

Support learners to develop key water safety and swimming skills.

Deliver fun, engaging lessons while ensuring safety and inclusivity.

Collaborate with Lead Teachers and colleagues to ensure a high-quality learning experience.
What We’re Looking For

Competent swimmer with a genuine interest in teaching.

Excellent communicator, both verbal and non-verbal.

Motivator who is supportive, approachable, and patient.

Willing to complete a 5-day intensive training course.

Creative and engaging, especially with children (experience desirable but not essential).
