To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on training and development
- Experience designing and delivering adult training/education programs
- Formal education in learning theories and training methodologies
- Strong proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms (preferred)
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications
About the role
If hired, you will:
- Assess and design training programs while delivering onboarding and group/individual training to meet staff needs
- Support leadership in developing training skills. Provide advice to managers, directors, and board members
- Track training outcomes, evaluate performance, provide feedback, and report skills gaps or performance issues
- Oversee and ensure compliance with training program budgets
- Maintain detailed and accurate administrative and HR documentation
- Ensure compliance with legislation, policies, procedures, collective agreements and health and safety standards
- Attend meetings and provide training, orientations, and supervision for students, volunteers, and work placements
