To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on training and development
  • Experience designing and delivering adult training/education programs
  • Formal education in learning theories and training methodologies
  • Strong proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms (preferred)
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications

About the role

If hired, you will:

  • Assess and design training programs while delivering onboarding and group/individual training to meet staff needs
  • Support leadership in developing training skills. Provide advice to managers, directors, and board members
  • Track training outcomes, evaluate performance, provide feedback, and report skills gaps or performance issues
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with training program budgets
  • Maintain detailed and accurate administrative and HR documentation
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, policies, procedures, collective agreements and health and safety standards
  • Attend meetings and provide training, orientations, and supervision for students, volunteers, and work placements
