Main Responsibilities of the Transport & Logistics Officer

Transport & Logistics Officer Duties:

  • Drive assigned vehicles safely, adhering to company policies and statutory regulations.

  • Ensure the welfare of passengers, particularly dependent children, is maintained during transportation.

  • Transport bulky items like furniture, appliances, and waste, following company guidelines.

  • Complete dynamic risk assessments and ensure the safe operation of vehicles during transit.

  • Valid UK driving licence and ability to travel across the region.

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to handle detailed documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.

Additional Features of the Transport & Logistics Officer Role

Role Flexibility and Requirements:

  • Must be flexible and able to work out-of-hours, including bank holidays and overtime.

  • Required to complete routine vehicle inspections and ensure vehicles are in full working condition.

  • The position involves regular travel and may require visits to multiple sites within the region.
