Join Alliance Healthcare as a Transport Clerk – Make a Difference Daily
Are you detail-oriented and ready to support vital healthcare operations? We’re hiring a Transport Clerk at our Croydon hub. As a Transport Clerk, you’ll be responsible for assisting the compliance department with key administrative tasks that keep our transport systems running safely and efficiently. Location: Croydon, CR9 0DB
Hours: 25–40 hours/week, flexible shifts (Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
Salary: £13.49 per hour
Reports To: Fleet & Transport Manager & Transport Compliance Manager
Key Responsibilities of a Transport Clerk

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of transport operational procedures

Ensure full compliance with legislation and company transport policies

Coordinate vehicle servicing and communicate bookings to relevant departments

Update transport KPIs and fleet planners on a daily basis

Keep transport filing systems transparent, organised, and accessible

Assist in maintaining Health & Safety standards and reporting key issues

Support other transport and administrative teams as required
What You Need to Succeed as a Transport Clerk
Skills & Experience Required

Experience in transport administration or logistics (preferred)

Basic knowledge of fleet compliance and vehicle servicing

Familiarity with Health & Safety regulations

Good communication, organisation, and decision-making skills

Proficient in MS Word and Excel with sound keyboard skills

Intermediate numeracy and literacy
