Key Responsibilities of the Transport Driver Role

As a Transport Driver, your duties will include:

  • Collecting and delivering medical items: Safely transport specimens, medication, patient records, and machinery across scheduled and ad-hoc routes in Essex.

  • Vehicle maintenance: Conduct basic checks on the vehicle, including oil, tyres, and lights. Refuel the vehicle and maintain its cleanliness inside and out.

  • Training new starters: Assist in training new staff within the Transport department to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications and Experience Required for Transport Driver Position
