Job Description

Cummins is seeking a detail-oriented Transportation Administrator to join our Logistics team in Daventry, United Kingdom. As a Transportation Administrator, you’ll play a vital role in coordinating shipments, managing data, and ensuring customs compliance. You will work rotational shifts from 07:00 to 15:00 and 14:00 to 22:00, Monday to Friday, helping maintain smooth transport operations during all active hours.

Key Duties and Impact – Transportation Administrator Role

As a Transportation Administrator, you will contribute significantly to efficient logistics operations by:

  • Coordinating transport bookings with external freight forwarders

  • Communicating effectively with Customer Services and stakeholders

  • Ensuring timely engine shipments to maintain supply chain flow

  • Raising customs requests accurately to ensure compliance

  • Following up on customer documentation to improve service quality

  • Supporting the team environment and promoting collaboration

  • Managing data using Excel for inventory and training records

  • Adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards

Your role will directly impact on-time delivery, compliance, and cost-effective transportation solutions.

 Qualifications & Experience – Transportation Administrator Profile

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills

  • Experience in logistics or transport admin roles preferred

  • Understanding of customs processes and documentation is a plus

  • Licensing may be required for compliance with export control regulations

  • Previous work experience or training in a similar environment
