Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum in a single-room model.

Assist with C-sections and collaborate with the healthcare team for safe deliveries.

Monitor maternal and fetal health, administer medications, and support families during childbirth.

Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all safety and hospital policies.
Unit Information

Beds: 9–10
-
Ratios: 1:1 to 1:3 (Mother-Baby)

Average Births: 40–50 per month

Shift Coverage: Evenings (3p–11p) and Nights (11p–7a); every weekend required
Requirements
-
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience

Active Pennsylvania RN license
-
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, NIHSS
