Responsibilities
- Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.)
- Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components
- Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them
- Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc.
- Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units
Skills
- Read plans and one line diagrams and be able to test on blue print reading
- Install : lighting contact panels, and understanding of how to terminate Novar system high volt side
- Installation of switch gears and panel boards
- Installation of conduit per NEC code
- Ability to manage your time and others to help bring projects in on time
- Knowledge of Lock Out Tag Out
- Troubleshoot electrical issues
- 4 years prior experience
- Experience in commercial electrical work
- Ability to read multiple different styles of blue prints
- Valid Driver’s license – Required
- Enough OJT to test in other states
- Wal-Mart Electrical remodel experience is a plus
