About the job
As a Treasury Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a wide range of Treasury products to the bank’s clients. You will drive business performance by focusing on profitability, customer acquisition, and retention, while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. Working closely with the Department Head – Treasury Sales, you will be responsible for the growth and expansion of the Treasury Sales function, guiding Senior Sales Officers in executing their day-to-day tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead initiatives to broaden Doha Bank’s treasury product suite, positioning the bank as a market leader in Qatar for FX, interest rate, derivative, and investment solutions.
- Provide exceptional coverage and solutions to key treasury relationships, delivering top-tier service.
- Contribute to the team’s efforts in online execution brokerage, including equities, FX, fixed income, and derivatives.
- Align Treasury Sales initiatives with the bank’s overall corporate objectives and the Treasury and Investments framework.
- Develop and nurture strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to meet strategic, operational, and functional goals.
- Actively manage treasury relationships, drive FX flow sales, and generate revenue through both corporate and retail business channels.
- Provide clients with regular market updates on currencies, interest rates, and broader financial market trends.
- Coordinate with wholesale and international banking teams to acquire new deposits and manage existing relationships.
- Ensure the achievement of sales targets, maintaining high performance standards in terms of business goals, compliance, controls, and quality.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in the financial services or banking industry, with significant exposure to Treasury Sales, including FX, interest rates, and derivatives.
- Strong understanding of financial markets and international best practices, with awareness of global and regional trends.
- Comprehensive knowledge of QCB regulations and governance framework
