Position Overview
Mennel Milling Company is seeking a reliable Class A Driver to transport products safely and efficiently. This role ensures compliance with food safety standards, DOT regulations, and company policies while representing our brand positively to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow all food safety, personal safety, and sanitation rules, including GMPs, OSHA, HACCP, FSMA, and Global Food Safety Initiative guidelines.

• Maintain department and facility in audit-ready condition at all times.

• Transport products safely and efficiently to assigned destinations.

• Conduct daily inspections of vehicles, reporting any equipment or mechanical issues.

• Comply with all DOT and in-house rules and regulations.

• Serve as a brand ambassador in all customer interactions.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum age: 18 years old.

• Valid Class A driver’s license in good standing.

• 1+ year of commercial motor vehicle driving experience.

• No license suspensions or revocations in the past three years.

Skills & Abilities

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, memos, and procedures.

• Basic writing skills for completing checklists and documentation.

• Strong communication skills for one-on-one or small group interactions.

• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

• Solid judgment and adaptability to changing work duties and conditions.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, twist, crouch, crawl, and communicate verbally.

• Occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs or more.

• Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced manufacturing environment with moving equipment and machinery.

• Exposure to dusty, hot, humid, and cold conditions, and work at heights.

• Regular exposure to common wheat allergens.

• Noise levels may require hearing protection.

• Work may occur in all weather conditions.
