Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a vehicle along a designated route, collecting recyclable materials from commercial customers in compliance with company, federal, state, and local regulations.

  • Provide delivery and removal services to customers as a Roll-Off Driver.

  • Complete daily pre/post-trip inspections, reporting safety concerns as needed.

  • Participate in daily safety toolbox meetings.

  • Obtain daily work schedules and Bills of Lading (BOLs).

  • Maintain courteous interaction with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service.

  • Communicate with dispatch throughout the day, adjusting routes as necessary.

  • Accurately complete pick-up, delivery, and vehicle condition reports.

  • Demonstrate commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including truck cab housekeeping and trash removal.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Valid Class A CDL (Required).

  • Roll-Off driving experience (Highly Preferred).

  • Ability to operate a manual transmission.

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.

  • At least 1 year of verifiable driving experience.

  • Authorization to work in the U.S.

  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).

  • Current DOT Medical Card.

  • Air Brakes Endorsement.

  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen, random drug and/or alcohol tests, and criminal background check.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

  • Good time management and organizational abilities.

  • Pride in reliability and teamwork.

  • Flexibility to work overtime and adapt to changes.

  • Comfortable maneuvering and parking a tractor-trailer.

  • Knowledge of safe loading and unloading practices.

  • Ability to drive in diverse weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, etc.).

  • Physical stamina for prolonged exertions (e.g., sitting, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting).

  • Capability to climb, hook/unhook containers, and secure loads manually.

  • Experience operating various equipment such as semi-rigs, box van trailers, and bale trucks.
