What You’ll Do
-
Operate a commercial vehicle safely along designated routes to collect recyclable materials from commercial customers, adhering to all company policies, federal, state, and local laws, and DOT regulations.

Complete thorough daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any safety concerns promptly.

Participate in daily safety toolbox meetings and obtain daily work assignments and bills of lading (BOLs).

Interact professionally with dispatchers and customers to ensure timely and efficient service.

Adapt to route changes as directed, maintaining communication with dispatch throughout the day.

Accurately complete pickup, delivery, and vehicle condition reports.

Promote a culture of safety, environmental responsibility, and continuous improvement.

Maintain cleanliness of the truck cab and adhere to facility housekeeping standards.

Perform additional duties and support the team as required.
What You’ll Bring
-
Required: Valid Class A CDL with air brake endorsement and no manual transmission restriction.

At least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.

Minimum age 21 (per insurance requirements).

Current DOT medical certification.
-
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
-
Authorized to work in the United States.

Ability to read, speak, and write English proficiently for safety and compliance purposes.

Must pass a pre-employment drug screening, background check, and participate in ongoing random drug/alcohol testing.

Strong communication and customer service skills.
-
Time management, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset.

Ability to safely back, maneuver, and park a tractor-trailer.

Familiarity with safe cargo loading, securement, and weight distribution.

Willingness to work in diverse weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, etc.).

Comfort operating various equipment including 48–53 ft semi-rigs, box vans, forklifts, and bale trucks.
