Key Responsibilities

Operate a concrete mixer truck safely and efficiently to deliver ready-mix concrete to residential and commercial job sites.

Foster positive relationships with customers by providing dependable, courteous service.

Accurately complete delivery logs, time records, and mileage/fuel usage documentation.

Collaborate with logistics, operations, and fellow drivers to optimize delivery schedules.

Conduct routine truck inspections (pre- and post-trip), and report any mechanical issues.

Perform light truck maintenance and cleaning.

Navigate Bellingham and Whatcom County efficiently to ensure on-time deliveries.

Unload materials according to site-specific protocols, following all safety procedures.

Flexibility to work varying shifts and Saturdays as needed.

Demonstrate commitment to Holcim’s health, safety, and environmental standards—including PPE compliance and respirator fit-testing when applicable.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
-
CDL Class A or B with clean driving record (FMCSA Clearinghouse-compliant).

Valid Drivers Abstract (required).

Basic understanding of traffic laws, vehicle safety, and operating procedures.

Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, and perform physical tasks as needed.
Preferred:

Previous experience operating ready-mix trucks or working with concrete/refrigerated freight.

Additional training or certification in transportation, logistics, or related fields.
