About the Job
Magnera, a newly formed company resulting from a merger, is seeking a U.S. Benefits Manager to design, implement, and administer their employee benefits programs. Reporting to the VP of Global Total Rewards, this role will oversee the benefits strategy, budget, vendor relationships, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of multi-state benefits administration experience, including expertise in relevant regulations (Section 125, COBRA, FMLA, HIPAA, ERISA, etc.) and benefits administration platforms (e.g., BSwift). Experience with post-merger integration, public companies, and manufacturing is preferred. A Bachelor’s degree is required, with CEBS and PHR/SPHR certifications a plus. Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders. Responsibilities include program design and implementation, vendor management, compliance, budget management, employee communication, and system administration. Up to 20% travel may be required.
