About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Undergraduate Medical Education Team at Northwick Park Hospital, part of London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust (LNWH). This is a key administrative position, supporting the delivery and coordination of medical student placements, teaching programmes, clinical assessments, and overall student experience.

As the Undergraduate Medical Education Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of a busy department, liaising with clinical staff, students, and education leads to ensure the smooth operation of placements and academic schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a key contact for medical students during their clinical placements

  • Coordinate, prepare and disseminate student timetables, schedules, and placement details

  • Support the planning and delivery of the undergraduate teaching programme and student examinations

  • Assist in managing the Medical Education Centre facilities, ensuring they are welcoming, organised, and fit for purpose

  • Maintain accurate and efficient office and data management systems, ensuring compliance and confidentiality

  • Support curriculum implementation and monitor student assessments, sign-offs, and feedback

  • Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Studies and Medical Education Manager on operational and reporting duties

  • Review and analyse student feedback to help shape and enhance future placement experiences

  • Assist the Clinical Skills Tutor and teaching fellows with logistical and administrative support

  • Ensure compliance with university timelines for communication and documentation

About You

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised administrator who thrives in a busy and people-focused environment. You’ll have a proactive attitude and a genuine interest in medical education, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar education or administrative support role (preferably within healthcare or academic institutions)

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload

  • Experience using Microsoft Office and data systems (e.g., Excel, Outlook, databases)

  • Organised, flexible and confident dealing with clinical teams, students and senior stakeholders
