About the Role

Ardonagh Specialty is looking for an Underwriting Support Technician to join our collaborative and fast-moving London team. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in-house underwriters with administrative and technical tasks

  • Produce and release quote slips and binding documentation for approval

  • Track renewals and premiums

  • Review correspondence and support preparation of underwriting data for capacity providers

  • Complete risk summary sheets and ensure timely processing

  • Liaise with clients, insurers, and team members to resolve queries professionally

  • Aid with invoices, credit and debit notes, FATCA statements, and premium tracking

  • Follow up with clients for outstanding premium and underwriting items

  • Create slip endorsements and calculate Additional/Return Premiums

  • Maintain Equinox Terms of Business agreements

  • Keep accurate records and ensure legal, regulatory, and market compliance

What We’re Looking For

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in underwriting support or insurance operations preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and time management

  • Familiarity with UK regulatory insurance requirements

  • Knowledge of North American policy wordings (advantageous)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and internal systems like Plus and Price Forbes
