A Day in the Life of a Truck Driver
As a Truck Driver at Wesco, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers. You’ll be responsible for transporting cargo to and from designated locations, preparing and verifying documentation, and ensuring a safe, seamless delivery experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Load, secure, verify, and unload cargo

Communicate with dispatchers for delivery and pick-up instructions

Confirm load contents against shipping documentation

Maintain logs and delivery records in compliance with regulations

Handle minor vehicle repairs (e.g., replacing bulbs, changing tires)

Present bills, collect receipts, and process payments when applicable

What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Valid truck driver’s license (required)

Minimum 2 years of professional truck driving experience
Skills & Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods

Good visual and auditory perception (night, near/far vision; sound differentiation)

Quick reflexes and response to visual or audio cues

Clean driving record and “satisfactory” motor vehicle report
