Core Responsibilities

  • Pharmaceutical Care: Provide comprehensive medication therapy management, including dispensing prescription orders, counseling patients, and maintaining required documentation in compliance with healthcare and legal standards.

  • Clinical Expertise: Stay updated on the latest clinical practices, applying this knowledge to develop action plans and offer expert guidance to healthcare teams in meeting business and patient care needs.

  • Business Solutions and Relationship Building: Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify business needs, implement solutions, monitor progress, and adapt to changes in organizational priorities.

  • Customer Service Leadership: Guide and support associates in delivering exceptional customer service, addressing customer complaints, and resolving issues within company standards.

  • Compliance and Ethics: Model compliance with company policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to legal, ethical, and company standards. Lead by example in using the Open Door Policy and other ethical frameworks to foster a culture of integrity.

  • Quality Patient Care: Create and maintain a culture of patient safety and care quality. Oversee team adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), monitor patient safety goals, and implement interventions to reduce risks.

  • Compliance-Focused Execution: Ensure accurate execution of healthcare compliance initiatives, such as billing procedures, HIPAA adherence, and safety protocols. Utilize auditing processes to identify and correct compliance issues.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Information

  • Annual Salary Range: $98,000 to $172,000 for a 40-hour work week. Pay is prorated for schedules of fewer hours.

  • Performance Bonuses: Annual or quarterly bonuses are available.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, or an equivalent FPGE (NABP).

  • License: Must hold a valid pharmacy license by the job entry date.

  • Immunization Training: Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program (e.g., APhA, pharmacy school curriculum, or state-sponsored programs).
