Key Responsibilities:

  • Pharmaceutical Care: Accurately process and dispense prescriptions, provide medication counseling to customers, and ensure the proper handling of prescriptions and over-the-counter medications, in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

  • Clinical Services: Administer immunizations and contribute to other healthcare programs as developed by the company, ensuring compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes and regulations.

  • Customer Service: Lead and model exceptional customer service practices, ensuring customer needs and concerns are addressed within company guidelines and standards.

  • Business Solutions: Build partnerships with key stakeholders, identify business needs, and implement necessary processes, continuously monitoring results and adapting to new demands.

  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations, HIPAA, fraud prevention, and company policies. Perform regular audits and implement action plans for compliance and safety.

  • Team Leadership: Guide and supervise pharmacy associates, ensuring they follow best practices and uphold company standards. Provide ongoing training and support for continuous improvement.

  • Patient Care: Foster a culture of patient care, safety, and accuracy. Promote transparent communication regarding medication errors and implement corrective actions to improve team knowledge and patient safety.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, or equivalent qualification (FPGE – NABP).

  • Active pharmacy license (by job entry date).

  • Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (e.g., APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association-sponsored).
