Position Summary
As a Staff Pharmacist at Walmart, you’ll provide high-quality pharmaceutical care by accurately processing and dispensing prescriptions, offering patient counseling, administering immunizations, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Your role will be essential in supporting the health and well-being of our customers while upholding our standards of safety, confidentiality, and service excellence.
What You’ll Do

Deliver personalized patient care by dispensing prescriptions accurately, administering immunizations, and supporting Walmart health programs in compliance with Board of Pharmacy regulations.

Counsel customers on health conditions and medication therapies while ensuring privacy and compliance with HIPAA and documentation standards.

Model exemplary customer service and support associate development by offering guidance on service best practices and company policies.

Lead quality assurance initiatives focused on patient safety, operational accuracy, and risk mitigation.

Promote a culture of compliance by executing operational procedures, monitoring billing and documentation accuracy, and maintaining accountability in health and wellness operations.

Collaborate with internal partners and leadership to develop, implement, and support business solutions that enhance the customer experience and drive results.

Maintain accurate and secure records as required by federal, state, and company regulations.

Hourly pay range: $47.12 – $82.69 (actual rate based on location and experience)

Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), or equivalent FPGEC (NABP)
-
Valid pharmacy license (must be obtained prior to job start date)

Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program (e.g., APhA or state-approved program)
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in community or retail pharmacy settings is a plus
