Key Responsibilities:

Accurately process prescription orders within the IHS Electronic Health Record (EHR), ensuring completeness, appropriate dosing, and allergy checks.

Monitor drug-drug and drug-food interactions, contraindications, and warnings, while also assessing renal function.

Counsel patients on the safe and effective use of medications and provide guidance to healthcare providers.

Oversee the preparation and dispensing of pharmaceutical products by technical staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

Maintain proper documentation and secure handling of controlled substances.

Administer immunizations and participate in other programs offered by Walmart, adhering to pharmacy regulations and guidelines.

Foster a culture of patient care, safety, and accuracy. Ensure compliance with operational procedures and address any patient care or safety concerns.

Promote compliance with healthcare regulations, billing procedures, and adherence to HIPAA standards.

Salary Range:
$98,000.00 – $172,000.00 (based on a 40-hour work week; variations for different schedules)
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, or an equivalent FPGE (NABP) certification.

Active Pharmacy License (by the job entry date).

Completion of an accredited immunization training program (e.g., APhA, State Pharmacy Association).
Preferred Qualifications:

Additional experience or certifications in related fields.
