What You’ll Do
You will develop and communicate a strategic vision aligned with the company’s market and local plans, directing the management team and associates in facility operations, merchandising, and company initiatives. Your role will involve providing supervision and development opportunities for both management and hourly associates, particularly in challenging environments that may include high turnover, engagement issues, or recruiting difficulties. This will require proactive recruitment, hiring, training, mentoring, succession planning, performance evaluation, and a strong focus on diversity across all levels of the organization.
You will uphold the company’s Open Door Policy, addressing associate concerns, researching issues, and ensuring consistent responses across all managerial levels. This involves meeting with associates, listening to their feedback, resolving complex and time-sensitive issues, and teaching consistency in policy application.

Salary & Compensation:
-
Annual Salary Range: $110,000 – $170,000, plus applicable differential based on location and legislative requirements.

Additional Compensation: Includes performance bonuses, Regional Pay Zone (RPZ), Sales Volume Category (SVC), and Complex Structure considerations.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of general management experience, including financial accountability and supervising at least 50 nonexempt and 5 exempt associates (performance management, mentoring, hiring, and termination).

Alternatively, 4 years of general management experience with the same supervisory and performance management responsibilities.
For positions at facilities selling firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check and Firearms Authorized Training is required. Some positions may also require a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility for facilities that sell ammunition.
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.

Experience as a Store Manager in a low or medium-complex store or 2 years as a Store Manager in a high-volume retail store.

Experience running a fresh or dry grocery area.
Training Requirements:
Associates must complete all required job training and assessments, such as Academy trainings and Open Door trainings.
