Background to the roles origin:
There is a gap in the organisation getting well documented requirements from the internal stakeholders in the business (and sometimes from customers). So when tickets go over to the developers, it is currently not always clear exactly what needs to be implemented, and it goes through many rounds of refinement before it is clear and the tickets can be started.
The process needs to become more efficient.
They are looking for some blend between Product and UX.
Someone to be on the planning and refinement call with the developers, gathering questions, getting answers, refining ticket requitements, embellishing requirements/tickets with visuals like page layouts etc .
Skills:
- Experience as a Business Analyst in software projects.
- Hands on with UX/wireframing software, design principles and associated tools.
- Proficiency in documentation tools and agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Advantageous:
- Familiarity with financial systems, commodities trading and risk management (CTRM).
- Knowledge of front-end/back-end development technologies and version control systems.
