About the Role

As a Store Manager at Vans, you will inspire, lead, and develop a high-performing team while championing the brand’s mission, vision, and values. You play a key role in driving business success by optimizing staffing levels, recruiting and training top talent, and fostering a positive and engaging store environment. Your leadership sets the standard for exceptional customer experiences, exceeding industry expectations.

With a strategic mindset, you will maximize store profitability by managing expenses, safeguarding company assets, and ensuring flawless execution of merchandising, operations, and community engagement initiatives. Above all, you will cultivate an inclusive and customer-first environment, both for your team and the shoppers who visit our store.

How You Will Make a Difference

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Sales & Business Growth – Lead your team to meet and exceed sales goals, continuously monitoring performance and implementing strategies to optimize results.

  • Deliver an Outstanding Customer Experience – Set the standard for exceptional customer interactions, fostering a consumer-centric mindset among your team.

  • Build & Develop a Strong Team – Recruit, hire, and mentor high-performing individuals, ensuring a diverse and talented team with strong succession planning.

  • Coach & Inspire – Provide ongoing training and constructive feedback to support employee development and engagement.

  • Operational Excellence – Oversee expenses, store standards, and productivity, ensuring the team has the tools and knowledge to drive efficiency and profitability.


What You Bring to the Role

  • 3-5+ years of leadership experience in retail or a related field.

  • A flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, to meet business needs.

  • A strong ability to drive results and meet business goals through team performance.

  • Proven leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and motivating a team.

  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.

  • A dynamic and adaptable approach to a fast-paced retail environment.

While a formal education (undergraduate/graduate degrees) is valuable, we are primarily interested in your experience and achievements.
