Your Key Duties as a Vascular Clinical Support Worker

As a Vascular Clinical Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring smooth patient flow through outpatient clinics.

  • Removing and replacing dressings and offering basic patient care.

  • Booking appointments and handling patient phone enquiries.

  • Completing baseline vascular tests under supervision (training provided).

  • Assisting the vascular team with clinical tasks and patient preparation.

  • Supporting clinic operations by managing equipment and supplies.

  • Escorting patients when needed to other departments.

  • Updating patient details and records using Careflow and CRIS systems.

  • Taking an active role in audits and maintaining clinic readiness.
